Location: New York City (In-Person)

Hours: Part-Time (Flexible Schedule, 2–3 days per week)

About Earthborn Design:
Earthborn Design is a Brooklyn-based boutique plant care company specializing in the design, installation, and maintenance of indoor plants for residential and commercial spaces. We’re passionate about plants and proud to bring a fresh, thoughtful approach to urban greenery.

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a part-time, in-person summer intern to assist with indoor plant care throughout New York City. If you're working toward a degree in horticulture, plant science, or simply have a deep love for plants, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, real-world environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with watering, fertilizing, cleaning, and inspecting plants at client locations

• Learn and apply best practices for pest management, pruning, and general plant health

• Help transport tools and supplies to various job sites around NYC

• Shadow and support our plant care team in delivering excellent service

• Learn about the day-to-day operations of an interior plant design and maintenance company

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong interest in plants, horticulture, or plant science

• Working toward a degree in horticulture, plant science, environmental science, or related field (preferred, not required)

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Comfortable traveling throughout New York City

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and handle physical work in a variety of indoor environments

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
